The Goodwill Youth Maritime Program is a two-year program that provides high school students with a smooth transition through their senior year toward a career in maritime. The program helps build strong soft skills and helps
connect students with future career opportunities in the maritime industry.
Commitment:
- First Year-Summer Session: July 7 - August 30, 2021 Mon. – Fri., 9 am – 4 pm
- First Year-School Session: September 2021 - June 2022, a minimum of two Saturdays per month.
- Second Year: Summer internship and up to four quarters of Maritime classes at area colleges
Requirement:
- Participants must be current
High school juniors when applying
for the program. - You must pick up an application and
attend one of the required orientation
session held inMay. - Students will participate in service
learning,civic participation,team
building, and college and career
readiness to prepare students for
both their senior year and work.
